TANNER’S HUNTINGTON BEACH DEBUTS NEW MENU WITH BOLD SO CAL COASTAL CUISINE COOKED ON A WOOD-FIRED GRILL
Huntington Beach, Calif. (February 7, 2018) - Located adjacent to Pacific City and inside Paséa Hotel & Spa, the newest hotel in Huntington Beach, Tanner’s restaurant introduces a new menu featuring contemporary coastal cuisine and wood-fired specialties, inspired by the local surf scene and the international culinary flavors and techniques from its Chef de Cuisine Carlo Narabal.
The menu showcases new shareable dishes like the visually appealing Tanner’s Seafood Platter, which includes wood-fired shrimp, seasonal local fish, clams and oysters, and an IPA Clam Bake with fennel, scallions, Fresno chiles and corn, served with a grilled baguette. Remaining on the menu are Tanner’s original local favorites such as the celebrated Shishito Burger, a half-pound of a coarse-ground chuck with serrano aioli, aged white Cheddar, and Shishito peppers on a potato bun, which was recently named one of the “Best Burgers in Orange County” by Orange Coast Magazine.
At Tanner’s, surfers, locals and travelers alike experience a rustic, laid-back atmosphere with an open-air design and expansive ocean views from both indoor and outdoor seating. Those seeking a playful yet coastal-chic rooftop experience can head up to Tanner’s Treehouse to enjoy 180-degree views of the Pacific on the fire-pit adorned terrace.
Drawing culinary inspiration from his childhood growing up in the Philippines and San Diego, Chef Narabal’s global palette and passion for locally-grown, sustainable ingredients is reflected in his multicultural take on the new Tanner’s menu.
