Stay, Sip and Support the Napa Valley this Cabernet Season

The Meritage Resort Provides New Way to Support the Napa Valley

Napa, Calif. (November 7, 2017) – As harvest season draws to a close in the Napa Valley, the hills truly come alive with vibrant colors. As Fall flows into Winter the vineyards continue to transform and show their beauty as yellow mustard grows between the neat rows of vines. Cabernet Season (November through April) in the Napa Valley is among the best times of the year to visit as wineries have just released their new vintages and restaurants offer tasty dishes inspired by the season.

Throughout Cabernet Season The Meritage Resort invites guests to the Napa Valley to taste great wines made with grapes from its hillside vineyards in the Trinitas Cellars Tasting Room and experience restorative spa treatments in the heart of the earth at Spa Terra, located in the resort’s luxurious Estate Cave. Guests can also bowl strikes after a day of tasting and exploring at the resort’s Crush Lounge, a sports and entertainment bar with six bowling lanes.

“The wines in our region are among the best and deserve to be tasted where they were made while learning about the history, workmanship and winemaking that helped the grape go from vine to bottle to your wine glass,” said Garrett Busch, board of managers for The Meritage Resort and CEO/proprietor of Trinitas Cellars. “Beyond the wine, the Napa Valley offers so much more from dining at top rated restaurants to casual cafes, boutique shopping on tranquil main streets, and adventure from hot air balloons to bike tours and hikes.”

The Meritage Resort is making this Cabernet Season the best time to visit the Napa Valley and to support the community as it rebuilds. The Support Napa Valley room package offers room rates starting at $160 (normally $200) and 10% will be donated to the Napa Valley Community Foundation’s relief fund. In addition, Trinitas Cellars is donating 30% of the proceeds for purchases of three bottles or more to the Napa Valley Community Foundation. Have a group? The Meritage Resort will donate 2% of the master charges in your company’s name.
